At the Phoenix Project we promote an active lifestyle.

Aerobics & Gym - This session is taken by a qualified instructor. The group participate in a variety of exercises and sporting activities which includes accessing the gym.

Swimming - Service users are supported to develop their swimming skills, this activity is seen as an interactive, gentle way to exercise and have fun. We have staff trained in the Halliwick concept, a holistic approach to swimming for people with profound and multiple disabilities.

Hydrotherapy/ Physiotherapy - Trained staff support service users to participate in prescribed physiotherapy activities, which are regularly reviewed by the physiotherapy team.

Yoga - The group is run by a qualified instructor, all abilities are catered for. This activity aids flexibility and movement.

Horse riding - Horse riding takes place through riding for the disabled. Service users have the opportunity to interact with the horses, improve muscle strength, balance and flexibility.

Bowling - Bowling is a very popular activity; bowling encourages turn taking, good sportsmanship and develops hand eye coordination.

Fishing - This activity is lead by a team of experienced fishermen.
