We provide opportunities for individuals to learn and develop.

Computers/IT skills - The Phoenix Project has a number of computers all with internet access. Specialist equipment enables service users of all abilities to benefit from these sessions. Experienced staff are on hand to advise and support individuals to learn new skills.

Cooking - Our cookery groups include planning preparing and cooking. This can be meals which are eaten at the Centre or taken home.

Personal development - This group aims to develop peoples individual interests and action them.

Communication skills - Makaton signs and symbols are used by service users and staff at the Phoenix Project. The daily timetable, signs and notices are all displayed in symbol form. Staff work with service users to promote good communication in the method appropriate to the individual.

Personal presentation - This group gives individuals the opportunity to develop personal grooming skills.
